Reactions of Copper Sulfate with Various Metals

In this simulation, the transfer of electrons that occurs when copper sulfate reacts with more active metals is presented using interlocking shapes to represent Cations, Anions, and valence Electrons. The simulator also allows students to practice their equation-balancing skills including both monatomic and polyatomic ions.
